The New Super Mario Brothers Series is starting to get old. Although this game withholds is core, Mario needs to go to space or somewhere again. I'm not complaining, it just Nintendo needs some new ideas. NSMB 2 is a very unique game. Each level has a set mechanic that makes the level memorable. The music still makes the enemies dance. Mario must save Peach, but coins are his new forte. The Triceratops are all bosses you must battle, and the game is very reminiscent of Super Mario World. Platforming Mario is jumping from place to place. I think it may have been impossible if I was to play every level to collect a million coins. I'm glad Coin Rush is in the game for a quicker collection. The game also offers a great amount of downloadable content, including classic levels from Mario games we already love. New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a fantastic game all around. Replayability is great because of the simple million coin goal..

I played the demo in best buy and I must say it felt too childish. However, the previous games were also childish.

Nothing here will wow the Super Mario fan, but its finely-tuned, addictive gameplay will please platforming enthusiasts

Look, you're gonna have some fun with a Mario game regardless, this one is good, but it lacks that extra something.
