Thrill Kill Bloodied - for Good

The console title that brought new meaning to "offensive kills" has been pulled from EA's publishing lineup.

Thrill Kill, the PlayStation four person fighting game that brought new meaning to "offensive kills" has been pulled from EA's publishing list, EA confirmed Monday evening. An EA spokesperson said the title was "shelved because its content was not appropriate for the market."

Originally a Virgin Interactive title, it was brought under EA's wing when the company was acquired by EA. The title was complete when the decision was made to axe the title. EA said the option to shop the title to another publisher will not be taken.

useful_idiot: "I remember this game. The four player aspect seemed interesting enough. Wasn't it re-branded as a Wu-Tang game?"

You're right. It was retooled as Wu Tang: Shaolin Style. Good memory.

P.S. Sorry about the lack of a link but GS doesn't allow the word "style" to be used inside of HTML tags.

From what I played it was rather obvious why they canceled it. It was a novelty at best, all violence and no real gameplay. We got bored with it once we saw most of the fatalities. If you want four player fighting, stick with Smash Bros.

Times have changed, maybe they should reconsider publishing this game if it's worth playing.
