Jodie Kidd to race on Xbox Live
Racing-mad model to join in some Project Gotham Racing 3 action on Xbox Live at the end of May.
Microsoft's Game With Fame series returns on Tuesday, May 30, with model and racing fan Jodie Kidd jumping on to Xbox Live. She'll be chatting and playing with gamers on Project Gotham Racing 3 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. GMT as part of a special PGR100 event.
The supermodel is a self-confessed racing enthusiast, and she recently took second place alongside co-driver Fabio Babini in the Trofeo Maserati race at the Bologna Motor Show. In addition, she held the fastest celebrity lap for quite a while on the BBC's motoring programme, Top Gear .
The PGR100 is a virtual racing club, populated by the fastest--and most stylish--Project Gotham racers in Europe. Members compete for the chance to win a limited-edition, black-cased Xbox 360.
If you're interested in challenging Jodie to a race, you'll need to sign in to Xbox Live and add the "Jodie Kidd" gamertag to your friends list. Then log in during the Game With Fame event, and those selected will have an invitation to race.
Jodie Kidd is the latest in a series of celebrities signed up by Microsoft to play with gamers on Xbox Live. McFly, The Strokes, Kasabian, Maroon 5, Thrills, and Goldie Lookin' Chain have all taken part previously.
