Daily Downloads: The Settlers VI beta, Loki demo
GameSpot premiers Loki demo, joined by an early look at The Settlers VI, BioShock podcast, and Lineage II - Interlude trial.
Would-be emperors can now take part in a beta event for The Settlers: Rise of an Empire, the latest in Blue Byte's city-building strategy series. Gamers can download the exclusive beta and test out a single-player tutorial mission and play four multiplayer maps in online or LAN play.
The English demo for Cyanide's action role-playing game Loki has also made its premiere, offering players a taste of the hack-and-slash adventure. Watch an opening cinematic and control the hero Kasstedan through the early portion of his story, completing several quests along the way.
What may possibly be the last of the BioShock official podcasts has also been made available and is joined by a seven-day free trial for Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle - Interlude, demos for Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa and Galactic Dream: Rage of War, a patch for the European edition of UFO: Extraterrestrials, and an open beta client for Red Stone.
