Nintendo lays out slate for Europe

Publisher confirms Mario Kart Wii for Q2; Super Smash Bros. Brawl not yet dated.

Nintendo has released its European Wii and Nintendo DS schedules for the first quarter of 2008, and has dated games including Donkey Kong Jet Race, Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice, Wii Chess, and Naruto Wii.

Mario Kart Wii is currently listed in the schedule for a Q2 release, although Super Smash Bros. Brawl appears to have disappeared off the radar entirely.

When contacted by GameSpot about the absence of Super Smash Bros. Brawl from the list, a Nintendo spokesperson said that the game simply has not yet been dated. In other words, it could possibly still be seen in Europe in the first half of the year.

    Mario Kart 2? What do you mean Mario Kart 2. It is named Mario Kart Wii, and it is the 6th Mario Kart game. There has been Mario Kart games on SNES, N64, GC, GBA and DS

    has anyone seen the youtube vid where Snake puts Mario into a sleeper hold then waits for Mario to wake up? tis amazing.... btw as i was typing my spell check said "mario" was spelled wrong, upon closer examination it was because i didn't put the "M" in caps, this means that Mario is truly in human history for ever more. awesome... and master chief isn't, yay

    @mikewalsh69 - hehe, its not US English to UK English. It's translating it into French, German and sometimes more languages at a time. Games also have to pass through the various ratings boards. What ticks me off though is when they convert NTSC games into PAL though. Whats the bloody need?! We all have NTSC compatable TV's now!

    these games are on my radar, but i won't get them all, i've got IGCSE exams by may, so i wont have time to get them all in one go, but i'll be sure to get most of them by summer
