SingStore to get 67 new songs
The online songs database for the PS3 version of SingStar will be getting a big update on March 7, including new tracks from the Spice Girls, David Bowie, and Maximo Park.
SingStar, which was released in Europe on December 7, 2007, and currently expected in the US sometime in the second quarter 2008, initially came with 44 tunes on the game disc. Gamers could then choose to download extra tracks from the online SingStore. However, with only 18 songs uploaded as of January 18, desperate karaoke lovers were getting antsy for new offerings.
Today they can fret no more. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed to GameSpot that there will be a big update coming on March 7, which will include 46 English songs, and a smattering of German, Italian, Norwegian, and Spanish tracks for mainland Europe.
