Hudson Entertainment has been an avid supporter of Nintendo's online Wii Shop, and today the Japanese publisher added two more titles to its downloadable catalog.

For Nintendo's original game service WiiWare, Hudson has released the puzzler Pop'Em Drop'Em SameGame. The 500 Wii point ($5) title challenges gamers to match block sets of two or more in a grid, with bonuses awarded for the most pieces cleared at once. The game also features three different multiplayer modes, each of which accommodates up to four players.

Hudson will also be revisiting its pint-sized explosives expert with Bomberman '94, originally released for the TurboGrafx-16. Available through the Virtual Console for 700 Wii points ($7), the competitive party game drops up to five gamers into a gladiatorial deathmatch, in which demo men compete for power-ups that increase their bomb-laying potential.

Konami's Detana TwinBee, which saw release on the TG-16 in the early '90s, will join Bomberman '94 on the Virtual Console at the 700 Wii point ($7) price. In contrast to Konami's Gradius series of vertical-scrolling shooters, Detana TwinBee plays up its cutesy aesthetic with six stages of off-kilter environments and enemies. The downloadable game features multiplayer action for up to two.

    Bomberman '94 or Mega Bomberman is the best Bomberman game out there! Especially now that it's on Virtual Console... 7$ for a game with 5 player support, a learning curve even a 3 year old can learn and hours of fun? Totally worth it. I just spend an entire night playing this game with my friends and we've never had so much fun playing a game.

    I've already got Bomberman '93 on VC, and the online Bomberman WiiWare game, so I think I can skip '94, but Detana TwinBee looks realllly tempting.

    hmm...indeed, Bomberman 94 is indeed the cheapest of all N64 games so far, but I also got the original Bomberman for TG-16.

    Curious to see what modes will be included in the N64 over the TG-16.

    That screenshot has the same menu screen as Mega Bomberman on the original Genesis. I never knew there were other versions of it. O_o

    They need to add whatever the Bomberman game with that Pommy dude was. Me and my bro played the n64 for HOURS. Him eating food and B-slapping peeps and me chucking bombs all over the place.....Good Times.

    bomberman was one of the more original 'pick-up-n-play' games and was pretty fun for its time when playing with some friends. so if you get 20 hours with it and have a good time than its probably worth 7$.

    I have a PS3 and this is the first time I've been jealous of a game coming out for the Wii. Of course this isn't exactly a new game, nor a major release (a Wii Ware legacy title), but still, hopefully it becomes DLC for PS3--this is one of my favorite classic games

    @RockMFR Yes there is, Bman '94 and its Mega Drive counterpart, Mega Bomberman, were popular games back in the 90's for the introductions of Louies/Rooies (Bomberman version of Yoshi from Super Mario World). In the matches you'll find eggs inside soft blocks that turn into Louies to ride on when touched, and they gave you a special ability depending on its fur color.

    For instance, the Blue Louie lets you punch bombs similar to the punch item in other games, while the purple Louie lets you jump over blocks, bombs, explosions, etc... They also allowed you to take an additional hit before being eliminated from the match (Though you'll lose the Louie), which made the battle mode in this game more fun than other installments.

    @snarple_basic, Bomberman is famous for it's replayability. Now lets say someone buys this game for 7 dollars and spends hundreds of hours playing the game both by himself and with his friends. Now most of the people on this site spend $50-$60 dollars on games that sometimes don't even provide a dozen hours of gameplay. So who is getting ripped off here?

    Wow $7 is a bit much for a TG16 game, I cant believe thats how much they cost. Wii owners getting ripped off, and I'm betting some of them don't even know it.
