Celebrities not knowing crap about videogames is nothing new, which is why rapper Twista kicks so much ass: the dude knows his Madden backwards and forwards. We interviewed the hip hop star on the latest episode of our sports gaming podcast, From the Bleachers. Here's an interesting Twista fact from his Wikipedia page: "[He] once held the title of fastest emcee in the world, according to the Guinness World Records in 1992, being able to pronounce 11.2 syllables per second". That means he's like the Micro Machines guy of rap. Which is awesome.
Unlike most, Twista is obviously a serious Madden player and, as you'll hear on the show, is also obviously a better trash talker than Shanker (who, I believe, tops out at 8.8 syllables per second). In addition to talking with Twista, we break down Madden NFL 09, share stories from Maddenpalooza 2008, and announce an impromptu contest where one lucky winner will win this sweet-ass hardcover book dedicated to the history of the Madden series.

Want to win it? Call the From the Bleachers hotline at 1-866-406-2638 and break down your favorite NFL team or college team. The most entertaining call will win the book and a sharp SportsGamer hat.
