Age of Mythology, Empires II bundle now out
RTS classics come in a single package which is only available at select locations.
Real-time strategy fans looking for an affordable way to convert fellow gamers to the RTS faith got a boost from Microsoft today. The software giant's game-studio division is bundling two of Ensemble Studios' most renowned RTS games, Age of Mythology and Age of Empires II, with two of the developer's acclaimed expansion packs, Age of Mythology: The Titans and Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, into a single product titled Kings & Myths: The Age Collection.
Though some of its components are several years old--Age of Empires II came out in 2000--together, the titles make an appealing package, especially considering its price, $59.99. The bundle will also include Sybex's Age of Mythology Strategy Guide, which contains tips on how to handle your stable of thunderbolt-wielding deities.
In a retail deal struck with Microsoft, Kings & Myths: The Age Collection is available only at Best Buy, EB Games, and GameStop.
