AU Shippin' Out June 4-8: Mario, Lara, and Shrek
Lara Croft and Shrek dominate this week's releases down under.
It's been 10 years since Lara Croft raided her first tomb, and to celebrate, Eidos are releasing Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary--a remake of the original Tomb Raider. The game is coming out this Thursday in Australia for the PC and PlayStation 2--with PlayStation Portable and Wii versions following later in the year.
Shrek the Third is making its appearance this week on almost every platform, including the Xbox 360, DS, Wii, PS2, and PC. As with most movie tie-ins, Shrek the Third is being released simultaneously with the film on June 7.
If you're after a less-than-serious sports game for the Wii, Mario Strikers: Charged Football may be just be up your alley. Mario Stikers: Charged Football is Mario's first original outing for the Wii and is booting its way into stores this Thursday--it is also one of the first Wii games to feature online play.
