AU Shippin' Out March 2-6: Empire: Total War
Wage war and take over the world in Creative Assembly's latest real-time strategy game.
Headlining this week's game releases in Australia is Empire: Total War by Sega's Creative Assembly. Set during the 1700s and 1800s, Empire: Total War contains all the familiar elements that armchair commanders have come to expect from the series, and more. The biggest addition to the game is that players can now control naval battles, something that was previously handled by the game's AI. The weather will also play a larger part, as it now affects the movement of your ships or can rain on and ruin your gunpowder supplies, rendering your riflemen useless. Expect to see soggy troops and ship battles this Thursday when Empire: Total War hits store shelves.
Other notable releases this week include Race Pro for the Xbox 360 and the AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack for the Wii. Keep tuning back to AU Shippin' Out, because the next few weeks will see some massive games coming out, including Resident Evil 5, World in Conflict: Soviet Assault, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, and much more!
