Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal ships
Interplay announces that its role-playing game expansion is now heading to stores.
Interplay Entertainment's Black Isle Studios has announced that its latest role-playing game expansion, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, has shipped to stores. The expansion adds a number of new features to the popular Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, including several new areas to explore and a variety of new characters to meet. The expansion also raises the experience-point limit to let player characters progress up to level 40 and cast a number of high-level spells.
Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal is the final conclusion to the series that began in 1998 with the original Baldur's Gate game. The expansion was developed by BioWare, and it will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $29.95. It requires an installed copy of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn in order to run. For more information, take a look at our in-depth previews of the expansion. We will post a full review of the expansion soon.
