Bethesda 'disappointed' over Skyrim DLC absence on PS3

skyrim is so full of bugs i got to lvl 4 and all of a sudden my wireless controller changed all its functions ...tried   set the default  function in the game for thje controller...didnt work. I Q

According to everyone sony is difficult to develop for Console been out for some time now and it still is problem if ur game lags on all platforms and you cant make it work on platform you have less experience at Its consoles fault. You got uncharted god of war running flawlessly on pa3 but here comes bethesda and all of the sudden ps3 cant run games. Why cant you develop for sony individually with their assistance when u were making game? Bethesda is like a child- its too hard we wont do it. There isnt unsolvable problems just unpleasant solutions.

they should bring out dawnguard for the Playstation 3 but i know that they are trieing to get it fix for Ps3 but what about HearthFire?

There's something behind the scenes preventing this content from being released on the PS3 that we're not being told or probably will never know about.  This is absurd!!

So glad I didn't get a PS3, although its specs look impressive on paper, some devs say its a nightmare to program for. Bioware games are always more buggy on PS3 and Bethesda games are always a nightmare on PS3 and since those are 2 of my fave companies that would be an issue for me.

I platinum'd Skyrim in under 280 hours on PS3, and it played great the whole time. RDR and GTAIV ran worse than Skyrim by far. If that was the case for everyone, PS3 would have Dawnguard by now. But with all the hate and backlash they received from fans and media, some true and most false, they are probably saying to themselves screw the PS3 and their whiny fans xD

I love my PS3 but thats how I see it.

yeah not having to waiit for dlc would be nice, but I guess i could live with it considering the variety of exclusives that the ps3 has.  not saying the 360 exclusives are bad just saying they aren't my cup of tea (or bag of tea as tommy t would say lol)

Finally console owners feel the pain of PC owners, delayed game launches, eg Assassin's Creed, or the game not being ported properly, eg GTA IV

Ahhh i'm a PS3 gamer but I've just come to live with the fact that Bethesda is Microsoft's lap dog.

So far the DLC offers no interest anyway.. vampires ain't my thing and neither is building my own house!  Once something truly invigorating comes along i'll take notice.

It's just all about the monies.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if some of the team is already working on the concept and maybe even extremely early versions of The Elder Scrolls 6. I remember in an interview a long time ago and I'm not sure if it was Todd Howard who said it but almost immediately after the release of Morrowind some of the team worked on DLC, other projects and of course Oblivion. After Oblivion was released they said the exact same thing some members worked on DLC, others on other projects like fall out 3 and others began working on Skyrim

Why is Bethesda the only company that has trouble with the PS3?  One would think a company would know how to program on Sony's system 5 years into it's life cycle.

I honestly thought Dawnguard was out for the PS3. Hasn't that been out for a couple of months already? I think Bethesda got a little rattled with the Skyrim/PS3 debacle, and they are being very, very, careful before releasing anything else on the PS3. With that, I never had any abnormal problems with Skyrim on my PS3. None more than Fallout 3, which pretty much were random crashes being the main problem that everyone else has to deal with for these games(360 included).

So what about this new DLC as well? Should we wait until next year then? I love SKYRIM.Love it! But I want to keep loving it... please give us PS3'ers the DLC.

let xbox owners pay for exclusive crap dlc its gonna be full of bugs anyways so why not wait

Its not even out on PC so why is everyone bashing Sony hardware again, im waiting till the complete packed is released next year like I did with Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas, sorted.

Who the hell gives a shit about DLC stuff anyway?Just wait for a GOTY edition or don't buy it at all
