GameSpot UK takes a look at the brand-new black Wii, complete with video unboxing.
While our US friends across the pond get to play with only a black Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Europeans will be soon be able to purchase the limited-edition black Wii bundle, complete with a copy of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
Nintendo was kind enough to send us a black Wii bundle ahead of its UK release on November 6, and we eagerly set upon tearing the box open to take a look.
Check out our full unboxing video and pictures below.
Those pictures are not the best at showing it off for some reason. I'm pretty sure it will look better than the white system in real life however.
I loved the myriad colour choices of the GameCube, and I'm assuming the Wii may soon follow suit. This shiny black example does look very chic, but the facade would dissipate when the machine is booted up. :P Oh, and wouldn't the tray have been better with an in-built red light, rather than the original blue?
Very nice..... that would match my Elite and PS3 very nicely, but I'm not vain enough to shell out money trading the colours. It's a pretty cool console to look at really, the Wii.... just wish that blue light was always on
If they could only bring this to the US, I would definitely get this! Let's go Nintendo...You got a customer here that demands it :P
Even with the different color, the black Wii gives a different feel than the white one we have been seeing.
I would really want this to come to the US so I could get it. I could trade in my old white Wii and get that awesome looking black one.
