I was waiting for zombie games to elaborately rip-off Left 4 Dead. Not surprised that Call of Duty was the first to do it. Treyarch and Infinity Ward: the masters of "originality".
Revolution expansion pack for Activision's latest Call of Duty adds five new maps, one gun, and "Turned" game type for Zombies mode.
The rumor was right. Activision today announced the Revolution expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Due out January 29 for the Xbox 360, the content contains five new maps and is free for those with a $50 DLC Pass. It will be available separately for $15.
Revolution for Black Ops II adds four new maps (Downhill, Hydro, Mirage, and Grind) for the game's multiplayer component, as well as a new Zombies map called Die Rise. In addition, the content ushers in a new game mode called Turned, in which players can compete against one another as a zombie.
Lastly, the Revolution expansion for Black Ops II brings a bonus multiplayer weapon called the Peacekeeper, which features its own set of weapon challenges. The DLC will be made available for other platforms at a later date.

the only problem i had was split screen, fix that for halo 5 and ill love u 343 but right now halo 4 sucks due to the smallest issue i have with the game which is split screen and its frame rate lag. i only play halo games with my bro and if i cant do that with anymore halo games then i wont buy.
@nick280455 The reason why Halo 4 has frame rate lag is because your playing split screen, which basically splits the frame rate in half and because the xbox is running on 8 year old hardware halo 4 pushed the limits of the system so splitting the frame rate in half will make it really choppy until the next xbox comes out
bought blops for 30 (boxing day) but it seems redundant to release dlc for a game that will be obsolete in october or november, plus 50 for the season pass? 15 for it on its own? new weapon? my advice folks, avoid this fucking game, and all the dlc, especially since it freezes way to much on ps3<Mine is brand new, for funk sakes>
Meh rented the game got my $5 worth as with every COD since 2 when I still bought them. Enjoyed, nothing new enough to make me buy, it's going back tomorrow.
Since when does paying $50 for a subscription make the product that you subscribed to free? It covers it, sure. But it sure as hell ain't free. Shouldn't play with that word.
Instead of fixing what has been fundamentally flawed with every call of duty since 4(the netcode and lack of dedicated servers), they just throw more features at it.
I'll concede that this is possibly the first CoD DLC that may actually give you your monies worth. It's slightly muted by the fact that the most interesting addition, the zombie mode, will still likely pale compared to the versus mode in Left 4 Dead.
They need to fix this stupid freezing problem before they do anything I mean come on the game has been out for almost 2 months now and they still haven't fixed it! Like wtf?!
I think it looks great! I love the fact that if you get caught in the damn, your screwed. Can't wait for this!
Playing as zombies? It's an interesting concept, except for one thing... I don't want to be a zombie-I want to kill zombies! I feel like going back to WaW zombies.
This is dlc and there's only one new gun? Lame. How about some new guns for Zombies, huh Treyarch? Let's change those wall guns we've had since Kino! Lazy bastards...
These are people who
For those who do not understand windows 8. It is the first stages of the new tech world. Windows 8 really does not make things better on a regular desktop computer. but once that is phased out (which it will be in the next few years...probably at least 3 more years) you will see that Windows 8 or by then Windows 9 etc will make sense. things will be much mroe fluid and faster and programs like photoshop or word etc will work better. the computers will be more like table tops which can stand up or be moved flat down just like a regular table...much bigger and ultra high resolution. (check example here http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/49035/lenovo-ideacentre-horizon-27-inch-touchscreen-all-in-one-pictures-and-hands-on )
Windows 8 is actually way ahead of any other type of OS. everyone will follow suite. It is just a matter of time. The people who have bought into it early are people who understand that and are the ones who are helping us to move out of the dinosaur ages of computers. We have been working on our work computers the same way since the 60's. Tablets are not the same thing. they are too small to do proper work and are mainly for doing simple tasks that do not require too much. I sure as hell wouldn't want to do an excel spread sheet or create a website on a small tablet.
Anyways i hope this answers your question. Just remember the more you support Windows 8 the more they can innovate and come out with the products that work better and forge ahead into the future.
Sorry id rather stick to my cheap ass Gmod Zombie Survival :P that doesn't require me to pay £40 for a COD game then whatever their asking just so I can play as a zombie...
And if I really wan't to play on a COD map ill just vote for it after a game match on GMOD :P
As much as I enjoy preaching the COD hate on here to be fair to Activision at least this expansion pack actually offers some innovation! Never thought I'd be saying that :/
I don't own BLOPS2, but watching this video actually made me want to buy it. Hydro looks pretty sweet and the sand dune level looks alright too (if somewhat stealing Spec Ops: The Line's initiative!). Getting killed by a cable-car travelling at 2mph is pretty hilarious though :P
Looks good! Although likely not enough to warrant spending £15. That's outrageous.
Now we get to PLAY as the uninteresting zombies and mindlessly swat at humans until they get incapped.
Rock and Roll Mcdonalds!!!! Can't wait for some fresh DLC Zombies are an obomination and need to be Eraticated
Now they done it correct, Zombie Mode for a zombie players, a zombie gun and a maps made by a zombies...
Ugh edit button but why only 5 min lol?
Gotta say, that is the best lot of DLC released for a COD game, if each pack has that level of stuff in it, WELL worth the money.
the. Multiplayer maps are very dull and Ill conceived. They lack character. I am going back to black ops 1- where the design of most of the maps is just perfect.
Sounds really really good, Iam actually very impressed with this, not only are we given the standard four maps and a zombie map, but now we also get an extra weapon and a really intriguing new game mode, which to be quite honest looks nothing like infection in halo! genuinly cant for the 29th now, call me a twelve year old noob or whatever but I actually enjoy playing online and cooperative games like these with friends, and zombies mode is alot of fun!
