Call of Duty: Black Ops tops Aussie game sales for 2010

Following yesterday's announcement from the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (iGEA) that the Australian video games industry saw a 16 percent decline in sales, retail sales tracker GfK Australia today released the top 20 best-selling games of 2010, as determined by the total number of units sold.

The accolades keep coming for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Call of Duty: Black Ops can add another shelf to its already impressive trophy cabinet, taking out the top two spots in the overall top 20 selling games of 2010. Despite traditionally selling better on the Xbox 360 and receiving exclusive early access to the game's first downloadable content pack--First Strike--it was the PlayStation 3 version of Activision's military shooter that took out the top spot, relegating the Xbox 360 edition down to number two. Bungie's Halo: Reach scored third place, while Wii Fit Plus sits in fourth. Closing out the top five was Gran Turismo 5. For the full list of top 20 games sold in 2010, check out the list below:
