Carcassonne builds out XBLA

Just got it. I hadn't known of this game before - but it's a sure-fire hit here. A great game.

Carcassonne is a great board game! Should hold up nicely on console, but nothing beats sitting around a real table building up the map with real peaces =P

Bomberman is LAME, there how's that! Stop whining on this board about Bomberman! I hope it never comes out now

If you like this...you MUST check out HEROSCAPE. I only wish one of these companies would port that to 360. To me, HEROSCAPE is the best board game ever created. If you like Final Fantasy Tactics, you;ll this table top wargame. Have a good one all. :)

I had a chance to play a few single player games this morning. The single player experience and UI is well done. The game takes care of all the house-keeping, such as tallying up the score, which is (imo) a big chore in the table-top game. I'll be checking out multiplayer options tonight. This looks like it'll be a hit for strategy game fans.

I play the board game all the time, it's fantastic. This and Catan are the best games on the arcade!

This is cool. Catan and Carcassonne are both sweet board games. I'll have to check these out. I find the re-release of older games to be pretty boring so far.

Boring? I've found these board game releases to be a lot more fun than 'generic game re-relase x'. They're not boring at all. Hell, I'd wager that you haven't even played any of them.

I'm pysched that Carcassonne is coming to XBLA! I'm a huge fan of the table-top versions of both this and Catan, being some of the best board games ever designed (imho). I spend 80-90% of my XBOX time playing Catan, and if Carcassonne is ported as well as Catan, it should be an instant hit for strategy game fans. Not having to get people together in the same room to play, not having to waste time on setup and cleanup, and having the game track points and score is huge boon and breath new life into these classic board games. The graphics looks good. I just hope Sierra does a better job with how the game handles player drop-outs (which is one major annoyance in Catan at the moment).

I love the fact people are crapping on "new" games versus wanting remakes of games where they will overcharge you for the content they can put it. As much as I'd like some Old school RTS, I know I'd be paying 40 bucks for the entire game, games that are 10 years + old.

If it is as good as Catan bring it on I loved Catan I would like to see bomberman sometime soon too.
