CDV Announces Comic Con New York 2007 Attendance and Game Line Up
Press Release
CDV Software Entertainment USA today announced its participation in Comic Con New York 2007, which will take place between February 23 and 25 at the Javits Center in New York City. CDV invites consumers and media to visit their kiosk to check out playable versions of Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, Tortuga: Two Treasures and War Front: Turning Point. Visitors to the booth will also be treated to giveaways and a chance to have their photo taken as a part of the Runaway cast. This year's Comic Con New York will be the perfect opportunity for consumers and media to get hands-on time with several exciting new and upcoming games. CDV's kiosk will be located in The Gaming Zone, presented by Computer Games Magazine, which is in the main lobby area.
Humor, hotties, hijinks and a hilarious plotline all combine to make a fantastically fun adventure in Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, the sequel to 2003's smash-hit adventure, Runaway, A Road Adventure. In Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, players will travel the world, from Alaska and Hawaii to the depths of the sea and the sky above. Become immersed in a tongue-in-cheek story where you’ll meet a crazy cast of miscreants in order to solve a mystery too weirdly entertaining for words in this title that pays homage to all that was great about the glory days of graphical adventure games. CDV Software Entertainment USA will ship this cartoon-styled title for PC to North American retailers on March 12, 2007.
Tortuga - Two Treasures will have players setting sail as pirate captains in search of action, adventure and of course, treasure. The game tells the story of the young swashbuckler Thomas ‘Hawk’ Blythe, a pirate in the employ of the sinister Blackbeard. After Hawk is captured and betrayed, a dramatic battle for power, romance, treasure and truth commences beneath the Jolly Roger. Two Treasures features epic land and naval battles, featuring everything from sword fights to cannon-battles. Tortuga: Two Treasures will ship to North American retail on March 5, 2007.
What would happen if the German Dictator had been assassinated early on in WWII and the German war engine came under control of a new regime? Digital Reality, 10TACLE STUDIOS and CDV Software Entertainment USA aim to answer that question in War Front: Turning Point, bringing gamers an "alternate reality" real-time strategy game. Gamers will be exposed to a whole new WWII timeline, new battles and a variety of secret and experimental weapons. Eye-popping graphics and a refreshing plot will keep gamers pinned to their PCs as they attempt to alter or ensure the outcome of vastly different World War II. War Front: Turning Point is currently available in North American retail outlets.
