Daily Downloads: Free games galore!
Ubisoft releases four ad-supported older games, while EA gives away the original Command & Conquer.
Ubisoft has pulled four games out of its catalog to be released free of charge thanks to in-game advertising. Ghost Recon, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and Far Cry are now gratis for residents of the US who have an Ubisoft account.
As part of the 12th anniversary celebration for the Command & Conquer franchise, EA has released the full version of Command & Conquer Gold completely free. This version is compatible with Windows XP, though it is not possible to play it online.
Also available on GameSpot today is the demo for Chromadrome 2, a new version of the BioShock SM 2.0 Fix Mod, and new patches for The Apocalyptic Game About Penguins and Tales of Pirates.
