Double Fine's Trenched coming to Europe
Major Nelson's blog reveals Double Fine's tower defense game is headed to Europe; title to be renamed "Iron Brigade" globally.
Double Fine's Trenched hit Xbox Live Arcade in June this year. It drafted players into the world of the Mobile Trench Brigade and charged them with the Earth's safety, following the evil invading technical terrors known as the Monovision.
Now, European gamers will be able to experience the joys of Trenched when the game hits XBLA in EU territories in September, albeit with a new name: Iron Brigade. The announcement was made official on the blog of Major Nelson, director of programming for Xbox Live.
According to the post, Trenched will be renamed globally, not just in the EU territories.
Trenched sees players erecting stationary defensive constructions and lurching about in their mechs, and it features an online co-op mode.
