DreamCatcher looking for Cold War testers
Publisher looking for feedback on upcoming espionage game from players worldwide.
DreamCatcher Games today put out the call for gamers interested in beta-testing its new stealth-oriented spy thriller Cold War for the PC. The beta-test application is up and active until August 17, after which point DreamCatcher will select entrants based on a variety of system configurations and locations.
Cold War tells the story of journalist Matt Carter, arrested and jailed by the KGB shortly after arriving in Moscow in 1986. Using only his wits, a rigged camera with unusual X-ray capabilities, and whatever items he can get his hands on, Carter must escape his captors and get to the bottom of the international conspiracy surrounding him.
A demo of the PC version will be available soon, while a demo for the Xbox version is scheduled for the October issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. Cold War is scheduled for a fall release and is rated T for Teen. For more information, check out GameSpot's hands-on impressions of the game.
