Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim preorders yield cloth map

Anybody know how big the map is? I want to put in a frame and hang it on my wall.

@siarhei This game doesnt need any dlc on launch. Everything you need is in it. Its massive. The cloth map is sick!!!!

Ooooh, wow, cloth map... Wait a second, who cares? How about exclusive game content, free DLCs or anything else to save us money later? Way to reward gamers for giving you money in advance.

I have a real liking for cool stuff in pre-orders. A nice map is pretty sweet. I don't mean to change the subject, but have any of you heard about the stuff in the Assassins Creed: Rev box? It comes with a soundtrack for the game, a bonus mission, and a new character. That's pretty hefty.

This is good because it also means that they aren't going to be stripping out items and using them as "pre-order bonuses".(NEW VEGAS)-made by obsidian, published by Bethesda.

Contemplating putting mine in a frame and hanging it on the wall... That would be epic.8)

@eseptim that wouldnt be a good idea on their part, havent you seen all of the rage over games like battlefield where people refuse top buy simply because people get in game perks for pre ordering?

I also hate paper maps, they never fold the way that they came out of the box, and to be honest they are always too elastic to read, they are like reading a REALLY big book with nothing to hold back the page in the first few pages of the book.

@Humorguy_basic Uhhhh, did you see the part were the dragon picks up the freaking giant and throws him? Id say that the hype is real, but of course you are entitled to you're opinion.

they don't haveto butter me up with cloth maps or anything like that this is gonna be one hell of a game .. the first time you emerge from the tutorial dungeon into daylight in oblivion is still etched in my memory and i'm sure skyrim will have similar moments

it shouldn't be cloth!!! it should be one of the armor in the game and a weapon or staff, so we can use it while we play the game, to make it more real. 0_0

Skyrim is my most anticipated game this year, cloth map or paper. Hell they could print it on toilet roll for all I care I'm still getting it. Roll on 11.11.11.

I hate paper maps, they tear and are horrible to fold so I hardly use them. Its almost quite comical to say this, but this is actually worthwhile :P

When it's JUST Bethesda making a game...it's pure gold. This is a no-brainer...BUY THIS GAME CLOTH OR NOT!

I dispute that Skyrim will be one of the best selling titles of 2011. This is hype in it's purest form, that only big publishers get from sites like Gamespot! Until a game is out and played and gamers start talking about the actual game nobody knows what sales this will garner! How brilliant was Dragon Age 2 going to be, for example? Or Alpha Protocol? I really hope it's a fantastic game, but with The Witcher 2 changing the playing field, combined with the game not being out for for 4 months, can we just get the facts?!

@Frame_Dragger Get the game you like, not the game everyone else likes. A few of my favorite games have a metacritic score under 50%. If you're in the market for a deep open-world RPG, you'll almost certainly love this game. If you're looking for an on-rails game, this game could get a 100% and you would still hate it.

No matter what you will get ripped off if you buy at launch. A cloth map, or all the future DLC and the original game for 60 bucks. Look at how many DLC packs they have planned for New Vegas.

This will make good company for my cloth map that came with Lunar: SSS back on the ps1.

This is great because the map will be nice and flat while i play instead of a wrinkly page like the rest
