Enigma: Rising Tide - Gold Edition surfaces
DreamCatcher's special edition of its naval combat simulator hits PCs today; Gold Edition features new missions and weapons.
DreamCatcher Interactive today announced that Enigma: Rising Tide - Gold Edition has set sail for retail stores. The "ultrarealistic" naval combat simulator was developed by Tesseraction Games for the PC. The original Enigma: Rising Tide was released in August 2003.
Enigma: Rising Tide lets gamers control fleets of sea-faring vessels such as submarines, destroyers, and battleships. The historically accurate arsenal includes antiaircraft cannons, torpedoes, and depth charges. As a member of the US Navy, German Navy, or League of Free Nations, players will attempt to rule the open sea.
The Gold Edition will feature the original game with six new missions and two new weapons. Other enhancements include new ship textures, special effects, and direct control over the game's weather system. As a bonus, the game's soundtrack will be packaged with the game.
Enigma: Rising Tide - Gold Edition is rated T for Teen and has an SRP of $39.99. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's full review of the original.
