soooo many negative comments here.. I dunno, kinda reminds me of castle crashers and that was bare fun. Something good could come of all this haha
Microsoft reveals Lionhead Studios developing four-player hack-and-slash downloadable game based on studio's role-playing series.
Lionhead Studios' latest project has been revealed. Microsoft has announced Fable Heroes, a new hack-and-slash downloadable game due out on Xbox Live.
Fable Heroes supports four players through competitive and cooperative modes playable locally or across Xbox Live. Players will fight familiar foes of Albion together, while competing with friends to collect the most gold coins along the way.
These coins can be used by players to unlock upgrades like finishing moves, flourishes, and power-ups, along with characters and items for Fable Heroes, as well as the upcoming Kinect-exclusive Fable: The Journey.
Microsoft also noted the game's replayability factor. The company said as players work through Fable Heroes they will unlock increasingly difficult levels and minigames. Players can also choose a difficultly level from the onset and post high scores to online leaderboards.
Fable Heroes will be presented in a stylized, cel-shaded manner. This represents a departure from the presentation style of the most recent entry in the franchise, Fable 3.
No release date or price was mentioned for Fable Heroes, and as of press time, Microsoft had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment.

@zzamaro @blackace Milo was FAKE. It was confirmed a long time ago that it just was a stage demo. Do you truly believe that Kinect could manage to do all of that? It just hype. All lies. I never believed when I first saw it as Natal. ***************************************************** It wasn't fake, it was scripted for the demonstration. Still journalist were able to go behind close doors and speak to Milo themselves and he did respond. Not always as expected, but it was awork in progress. Yes, the XBox 360 is capable of a lot of things and the Kinect seems to be able to do a lot more then we expected.
@theKSMM Considering the improvements (or deterioration) of the Fable series, I don't really mind if the franchise became ipad/tablet only... to join the league of shallow games... I think it's time to change the Fable name to Fumble
I'm not mad at the Lionhead guys for expanding the Fable franchise into the casual territory, but what's with this Mii-style graphics on the XBOX 360? This looks like something I'd expect to see on the iPad, not my living room TV.
This is what happens when a company turns stupid. You get franchises like Fable turned into garbage like this and kinect trash like The Journey. Microsoft has made my decision so easy next generation. It would've been much harder if I actually wanted to play anything they have left.
This is what the genius who invented the entire concept of "the God Game" has whittled himself down to. Populous... Powermonger... Black&White... Dungeon Keeper... and a crappy license tie-in.
Is this a joke? Oh yeah just put the Fable name on it so it could sell, perfect plan. This is like Gothem City Imposters and Battlefield Heroes, except worse. Why do you have to put the Fable franchise name on it!!! I was hoping for a Fable 4 announcement not this.
At least it sounds better than The Journey. But honestly Lionhead, you need to move on to something else.

it could be fun, though I don't think I would pay for it. The sad thing: It's probably going to be 1600 MS Points. *sigh*
I think it is cool. It is interesting to see the greed part. Actually it is best to be a ghost in the assisted run, and then, leave one heart at the end for the ghost to come back after a boss fight.
I think Molyneux just needs to come out with the kid's meal toys and Fable pajamas and be done with it.
