Fan outcry returns Nuketown 2025 to Black Ops II

Anyone else think of Fallout when you saw the screen pic?

one more thing...  yes, they are trying to say "we've heard the pleas of our fans/gamers..."  but its a load of bs.  yes, they added it to server rotation but they know that's not what people wanted. we wanted 24/7 nuke. and we need dedicated server support.  not a crap console port

what about the people that paid extra for the digital deluxe version with the nuketown advertisement as incentive?  and what if a lot of people bought preorder or digital deluxe for holiday gifts?  little timmy is gonna open up his present super stoked to!!!!!! not play nuketown as advertised???  the map being good or not is a matter of personal opinion, the fact that they advertised the map as a selling point with no notice of a limited time period that it could be played is a lie and false advertising.  this is a matter of principle.  ive already filed a case with the BBB and a complaint to activision/treyarch.  I suggest everyone else to do the same if u feel ripped off or lied to...

Mass effect's 3 ending... TERA's blood effectsin the European version... this case...Companies seems to be more concerned about fan's reaction nowadays. That is good in general; a lot of companies seem to live completely disconected from the final costumer.

I seriously don't understand why everyone's getting all worked up about Nuketown, the map is absolutely terrible, there's absolutely no strategy needed for that map at all. If the map was more than just 2 or 3 backyards, the main street area and the 3 or 4 bulidings you can go into if you want to try to snipe, I might like it a little better.

Also for the people who keep saying they lied about it being a pre-order bonus, you do realise that only the first batch of games shipped will have the code, pre-ordering it just guarenteed that you'd get it.

mine wont even run most of the time, i get a disc read error, like the previous cod (not black ops) if it does get going my system overheats and i get one game out of it !! 41 quid well spent, my other games work fine, with battlefield occasionally freezing. I fkn hate cod, but this i enjoyed for a day until it fkd up. i now have charging issues with my pads and recognition too. if anyone can help i would be eternally grateful

This is why the game needs player-controlled servers/games - so people can lookm around for what map and game type they want to play rather than being subject to whatever "playlists" Treyarch sets up.

I just want it available on Hard Core.  Its always irritating that not all the maps or options are available on Hard Core play styles as they are on Core.

they gain no money, seeing as its about how cheaply they can run the servers on that crappy product. I've been playing cod since 2007 mw1 golden years of cod. And Im stopping with mw3. It's a cash cow. when you make a product that's about how cheaply you can run the servers. And not about the quality of gaming you lose the point of why you started making the game int he first place.

So they actually lied about Nuketown 2025 being a pre-order bonus as everyone has access to it and lied about it being on a 24/7 cycle too?  I wonder how long until someone sues them for 'bait and switch' then.

I can't tell you how fast i would have returned this game if i couldn't play on that map.   Nuketown has a strong communnity and i thank them for voicing there distress to treyarc to bring it back.  Head quarters and domination.

I want Firing Range back!! Nuketown and Firing Range are my two favorite maps from any COD game!

I don't own this game but taking out the favorite(at least from Black Ops 1) and only letting people play it on 2x weekends and special events seems unfair to me.

THIS is fucking stupid. i played 4(?) games in "chaos" moshpit and i didn't see nuketown once. wtf is the point of that when you can just put it in regular map rotation?

what i dont get is nuke town was supposed to be a game stop pre order exclusive yet every single box that wasnt pre ordered had a code  wow talk about bs. nuke town was supposed to be in a future release map pack for black ops 2 for every one else now no one will be able to play on the map at all unless they play mosh pit for a few hours and prey to see the map lol!! way to go activision thats why you guys are the best at being the worst.

Nuketown was the only good map in BO. Pretty bad when Activision is screwing people out of the only reason to buy their game.

lol we can't play the map we were promised... hilarious... nice treyarch... guess there was extremly fine print on that preorder notice.

I have no idea why they would only bring it back for special occasions. I preordered. I want what they promised for the preorder.

Im starting to really question these guys...Why not just put Nuketown on the Public Playlist?

Nuketown is just for XP whores. No one even really plays in MoshPit, so it's obvious why they put it in that playlist. Hijacked seems like the new Nuketown except you can fall off the boat. I put some hrs in the game, but there's a few things I dislike because it doesn't make sense. I dont understand why I must lose perk to add an attachment to a gun I already have equipped? If you use 3 wildcards, they won't even let you carry a gun unless you release all lethal and tactical grenades. Basically you're running around naked

let me say i played in the bonus chaos moshpit all day pretty much not one time did i play in nuketown. so yet again fail, nuketown is not back. you want the gaming community happy just have nuketown only available for those that want to play cause seems their is a high demand cause they woke up the dead pulling that map yesterday. i say when something is not broke just don't even bother trying to fix it LEAVE IT ALONE. the people were happy you had a decent turnout of a demand for it obviously just bring it back like that no other maps joined to it and let us play in piece. "if you do this, we will play." JUST SAY'N. 

The maps in BOII are crap. I can't blame them for recycling a map from the original game.
