Field Trip: Industry Community News Is Back!
We're bringing back the community news happening in the game industry!
Guess what? We're bringing back the game industry community news, but it's gonna be much more expanded with its own news piece in the Spam Filter each week. Don't worry, though. If you miss out, Synthia will put a link to it in Friday's wrap-up.
We plan to call this little weekly news update the "field trip." So, let's go on a field trip to see what Capcom, Sega, Blizzard, Activision, and EA are doing in their communities this week!
Capcom knows just how important sipping your favorite hot drink is, so it has a set of Resident Evil mugs up for grabs. Head on over to leave a comment about RE Code Veronica X and win!
Sega, on the other hand, likes to keep things limited! Nintendo Wii owners will want to make sure they pick up R-Type, because the game is being removed from the Virtual Console store on September 30.
As we take a tour over to Blizzard, the company has announced that the Foo Fighters will close out BlizzCon this year. Tickets are sold out, but virtual attendees can find out how they can get a BlizzCon virtual ticket.
But wait, it looks like Activision has given TurtleBeach the rights to have Modern Warfare 3 in our ears! Check out what OneOfSwords.com has to say about the Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition 9mm Earphones.
Lastly, EA has made its fans quite happy this week with the Battlefield 3 open beta available across multiple platforms! Drop by the official site to get in on the action.
That's all I've got for this week! Have a great weekend.
