whyy walcott i can understand rooney and lampard but lampard is still overratted should have put gerrard on it instead

Wayne Rooney = Overrated Frank Lampard = Mega Overrated Theo Walcott = ...WTH!? They've really lowered the standards of Fifa10 with these players on the cover. Fernando Torres should be on the front as he's considered to be "the best striker in the world" not that I agree but still, a dam site better lookin than rooney!

Lol, Rooneys face is crack up... But algood, he makes up for it with skill I would have perferred arsenals first kit on it, but the 2nds good 2.... If it were up to me i would have chosen Ronaldinho, then Fabragas and Puyol on the cover..

Dont worry this is the gasmespot UK blog and this cover for the game is only for UK version. I think sapin has Benzema and others etc. Strangely though all countries have Rooney.

Lets be honest how much time are you going to spend studying Rooney's receding hairline? Exactly. My only gripe is that they picked three EPL players, not really bothered about their nationality but it's FIFA 10 not FA 10, would be nice to see some other leagues getting a bit of coverage.

@ azi It's easier because in Spain they focus more on actually playing the game(the technical side of football) rather than just bringing in players that are more of athletes than they are footballers. Your comment/argument holds no water in my eyes. People always say the EPL is so fast, this that and the other. It's not. They just have more athletes than they do skilled footballers.

at least Frank is not that angry like the rest. i can understand why these are the choices. in english squad rooney is the scorer, lampard is the top goal maker and wallcot is best prospect in youngsters. good cover, but yes, rooney is ugly in this pic.

I'm going to get "thumbs down" like it's going out of fashion but i'd like to see Phil Jagielka on there =) I'm happy with the 3 ENGLISH players on the front though; - Rooney is a good player... - Lampard has his moments... - Walcott is errr.... very fast...

@CMpepper23 Its easier to play attractive football in la liga because the tempo is much slower than the premiership. dont get me wrong la liga is a good league with exciting players but the premiership is make or break for a lot of flashy skillful players. serie A in my opinion is the slowest top flight league in europe and when the majority of hyped players from serie A come to the premiership they cant do anything close to what they did in serie A, an example being Shevchenko. remember im not saying all players, just a majority.

I'm sad to see Guillermo Ochoa get the cut (he's an excellent goalkeeper from Mexico). Unless I'm mistaken, he was both in FIFA 08 and FIFA 09.

@commadore Lampard only scores 20 goals a season because he takes all the penalties and with drogba and anelka in the team he takes a lot of penalties.

This is the english cover but they should put gerrard instead of walcott, in the spanish cover appears xavi and benzema, for germany i think is schweinsteiger and rooney

This is the UK cover by the way, meaning only English players would have made the cover, so those of you mentioning Torres/Arshavin/Fabregas/whoever they were not eligible.
