FIFA Street fends off Raccoon City on UK Chart
EA titles claim half of top 10, four of top five spots; Resident Evil spin-off settles for second place.
Although Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City defied the critics, it's FIFA Street that enjoys a second week in the top spot.
Despite receiving mostly negative reviews, Capcom's Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has debuted in the UK charts at number two. Three years since Resident Evil 5's release, Raccoon City offers players the chance to see the events of the series from a new, if flawed, angle. However, it wasn't enough to beat EA's FIFA Street, which remains at number one.
This week EA titles represent five of the top 10, with Mass Effect 3, FIFA 12 and SSX at third, fourth, and fifth. Battlefield 3's trio of BAFTA awards has helped launch the title back into the top 10 at number eight.
Other new releases include Kid Icarus: Uprising for the 3DS at seven, Shogun 2 Total War: Fall of the Samurai at 17, and Ninja Gaiden 3 at 19.
