Fire Department confirmed for Europe
Monte Cristo announces that localized versions of its Fire Department strategy game will be released across Europe in June. New screens inside.
Monte Cristo Games has confirmed that it will publish localized versions of its Fire Department strategy game--which is scheduled for release through Strategy First in North America in August--across Europe in June. The game's development team has been working closely with an international consultant to ensure that each version of the game will feature vehicles and uniforms that are accurate for the territory it's being sold in.
The UK edition of the game will be released as Fire Chief, and it will feature fire engines and uniforms that look quite different from those in North America. As a result of the localized fire-fighting equipment in each territory's version of the game, the gameplay will also vary, although it's not yet known to what degree.
