First look: Powerpuff Girls: Him and Seek
Bam Entertainment announces a second Powerpuff Girls action game for the GBA. First screens inside.
Bam Entertainment has today announced that it will release a second Powerpuff Girls action game for the Game Boy Advance. The game, like Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go before it, will take the form of a side-scrolling shooter in which players can switch between the three girls at will, allowing the two girls not currently in use to replenish their health bars.
The plot of the game sees the girls enjoying a harmless scavenger hunt until their archenemy "Him!" steps in and spices the game up. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will have to battle their way through nine levels set in five different Townsville locations. Of course, the girls will have plenty of superpowers at their disposal, and those confirmed for inclusion in the game to date include ice breath, electric sphere, fireballs, tornados, and sonic screams. The game will also feature a number of minigames including powerpuff pinball, get away, and boogie down.
Him and Seek is scheduled for release in October. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
