Looks good, but i might take a while to get used to a vertical scrolling.. I might have to give this a try.. Though will the game register bends? Taps?
Ubisoft announces promotion with specialty retailer for upcoming guitar game; voucher good for any guitar purchase at national axe warehouse.
Now the French publisher has announced how it hopes to secure preorders for the game. The publisher recently said those who reserve the title at specialty retailer GameStop will earn a $25 gift card to national axe warehouse Guitar Center, where the credit can be applied toward the purchase of any guitar.
A standard version of Rocksmith is due out this fall for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC priced at $79.99. Additionally, a $200 Gibson custom edition is reportedly in the works.
The game will come with 45 songs from bands like the Rolling Stones, the Animals, David Bowie, and Nirvana. According to the game's initial unveiling, Rocksmith will sport songs not available in Rock Band or Guitar Hero games.
lol guitar centre...the place where they throw the line 6 spyder amp at you and make out its actually a good amp :P even for a beginner said amp is poor compared to peaveys. On a more good note this looks awesome, but as a bassist i want moar bass :( that mind me i need to buy a new allan key for my fender for its bridge its actions out of whack :(
While the concept looks very fresh for the genre, the fail here may be poor song choices, I'm 39 and everything here was crap, they need NEW music!!! Can't wait to plug in my own guitars, what about bass support?
Now if you look carefully, class, you can see the vague outlines of what was once called a "Bandwagon". Long since dead, this bandwagon was probably used for the repeated selling of Duplo-style guitars, bad covers of great songs, and micro-transaction quarterly budgets.
What I wanna know is what the hell is Rocksmith and why should I care about it when Rock Band 3 exists?
Come on, why do I play the bass >.> (I love my instrument btw) can't we plug in a bass :P? I hope we can :D
Finally a game that you don't need to buy a plastic guitar or a special high priced guitar to play, for what I understand any conventional guitar will do the trick, still love my RB3 and GHMetallica!!!
