Get Fracked with Battlestar Galactica's Xbox Live Arcade and PC Deathmatch Tournament

2007 October 24 - Get your trigger fingers ready and your gunning sights set, Sierra Online will be hosting a cream-of-the-crop Deathmatch tournament for Battlestar Galactica launching on Oct. 24, 2007 at 1AM PT. Based on the Emmy Award winning TV series, Battlestar Galactica (BSG) allows players to take part in enormous multiplayer space battles – up to 16 players on PC or 8 on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
Only the top ten ranked space Nuggets or Toasters will be eligible to win. Winners will be awarded with an assortment of Battlestar Galactica related prizes determined by the Overall Leaderboard for Ranked Deathmatch multiplayer games. The grand prize winner will take home a signed BSG Episode Script and various other exclusive Battlestar Galactica accessories including t-shirts and mugs.
The tournament begins on Oct. 24th, 2007 at 1 AM PT and ends on Nov. 29, 2007 at 1 AM PT, with winners being announced the same day at 2PM PT. Separate tournaments will be held for both Xbox LIVE and PC products with two sets of ranked winners, with prizes being awarded to a total of 20 players.

Tournament Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or old
- Must currently reside in the United States.
- Must be in good standing with Sierra Online and Microsoft Xbox LIVE Arcade ("XBLA").
- Sierra Online assumes that winners who qualify meet the eligibility requirements. If winners do not meet these requirements prizing will go to the next runner up

One set of prizes will be awarded to 10 winners on PC and 10 winners on XBLA. Prizing is as follows:

The Battlestar Galactica interactive game is set in a distant part of the universe called the Twelve Colonies, where players sign up to either defend the Galactica, or play as the ruthless Cylons as they seek to remove the human race from existence.
