God of War: Ascension single-player demo out now

The demo was extremely boring for me, they should have stopped making god of war after 3

Now I am not a GOW knowledge nut or anything, but if this is an origin story shouldn't Kratos not be covered in the ash of *spolier stuff*? Yeah, I just did that. It just seems if this happened before GOW 1 that the little moment where that happens wouldn't have happened yet. Blah :)

you have to be a real fan of gow now i think to want this, it looks beautiful as always but its getting tired.

First time I played a demo and was really disappointed when it ended

you would need a three thousand dollar pc to play a game like this, way to go ps3.

I really enjoy God of War, but I'm too spoiled by PC game sales to spend 60 dollars on this.

hey spoters just a tip, the framerate and graphics of the 3rd GOW Demo was much inferior to the final product so whatever ur gonna enjoy on the demo u can expect to get better.when the game is out(:

One hell of another awesome gow demo. day 1 purchase for me. I haven't had a gow game. let me down yet. keep them coming atleast it always delivers on what it says its gonna be and that's awesome gameplay this game is gonna rock like the rest of them did and still do.

Can't wait for it. It left me wanting more especially how it ended.

Demo didn't feel like a legit GOW. Felt a little flat and it didn't help the 5.1 sound also felt flat because it was PCM.

Made me think twice about my pre-order.

Freaking awesome one-of-a-kind EPIC. The game looks fantastic. No wonder why there're so many games (Darksiders, Dante Inferno, Cattlevania: Lord of Shadow, etc.) that have followed the path of this masterpiece tittle.

Damn, it's too short and too easy...  I just hope they let us play Very Hard right away...

Indeed a GOW game. Amazing from the beginning to the end no matter how many sequel it has I wanna have it.  :)

It's honestly the same game with a few combat alterations and the same blueprint from almost all the previous games. The boss battle has elements reminiscent of the Hydra boss from GOW1 and the Colossus from GOW2. Another example, "Rage" is nothing more than a combo restriction as far as I can tell from the demo. In previous God of Wars, you had the multiple Normal hits finished up with a Heavy move. Now, you have to wait until that little meter fills up to be able to do the original combos from every other GOW?

I'm really hoping they switch things up with this game, but from what is being demoed, it looks like more GOW. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I'm just meh at this point. It's gorgeous, superbly animated and all, but I'd much rather see Santa Monica Studios move on to something new. Fingers crossed that this will be the final GOW and we get a new IP with PS4 from them.
