Acclaim reveals a new level in the GameCube and Xbox versions of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2. New screenshots inside.
Acclaim has detailed a new aspect of the Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube versions of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2. This week, the company highlights one of two new levels featured in the Xbox and GameCube versions. The level shown in the screenshots is Greenville, NC. Greenville is where pros such as Dave Mirra, Ryan Nyquist, and Mike Laird live in real life, and in the game, this quiet town is transformed into a BMX rider's paradise. The Greenville in the Xbox and GameCube versions is very different from the one featured in the already released PlayStation 2 game--it is based more closely on the real-world town. In the Greenville level, players will be able to ride their bikes around and through a BMX park, a university's campus, and even backyards and pools. Also included in the level are a back-alley section, verts, and dirt tracks.
Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 will be released in time for the respective launches of the Nintendo GameCube and the Microsoft Xbox in mid-November.
