Guitar Hero gets DLC encore with Modern Rock Mega Pack
New nine-song pack now available for Warriors of Rock; contemporary focus on Bad Religion, Muse, Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, and others.
Last week, Activision announced that despite the disbanding of the Guitar Hero business unit and a statement announcing the end of Guitar Hero and DJ Hero DLC, the franchise would live on with new downloadable content.
Today, the publisher lived up to the Guitar Hero part of that commitment with the release of the Modern Rock Mega Pack. Now live on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel, the nine-song track pack includes contemporary hits like Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole," Trapt's "Headstrong," Queens of the Stone Age's "Little Sister," and others.

Further, the tracks are playable only in Activision's latest franchise entry, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The full list of songs in the Modern Rock Mega Pack follows below.
