Jak and Daxter Collection hits PS3 February 7

so is the release date the 17th of february in EU? so confuzzled ....... ive got it pre ordered and their date keeps changing on the website .......

I'm so buying this day 1. I never played these games back in the day. What better time then now all fancy in HD for cheap. I like these collection packs. I want and Uncharted Trilogy bundle too please :)

I traded all of three of mine in (big regret) so I'll be for sure picking this one up. Always did want to replay Jak II, had one of the best free-roam worlds for sure. I kinda wish it was being made in Full 1080p though. Its not like its not possible technically. We don't even know if its Full 720p, might just be partial HD.

I really hope this means we will finally get Jak 4.

Why does the trailer spell Jak's name "Jax"? That is worse than people spelling it "Jack".

I like how they're making HD collections for past PS2 games... wait until the future, where we'll Get The Uncharted series re-vamped to virtual reality, or holograms! XD

@ TommyT456 - Naughty dog always has a new character for each console. Ps1: Crash Bandicoot. Ps2: Jak and Daxter. Ps3: Uncharted (Nathan Drake). Ps4: we'll see...

@ Darnasian - Lost frontiers wasn't that great of a game actually, not gonna lie. But Jak X would be a great compliment, especially since it takes place after #3 and continues the story.

And my poor PS3 just died...

I had all three of these games for Playstation 2. They are worth replaying in HD. So if anyone missed these last generation. Now is the time to play these classics. I will eventually buy this collection since it would be nice to replay in HD and get some trophies for it. Even though I'm not huge on throphies I am a huge Jak and Daxter fan.

@harry4herms I'm still hoping for an RC collection. There was some sort of magic to the original trilogy that I didn't find in the new ones, but maybe its just me.

Great games, but I already have them on PS2. When they hit $10 downloadable (as a pack, not individually), I'll bite for the HD visuals. Steam has spoiled me as far as game prices, few new games should cost more than $20 and I rarely buy over $10 anyway.

$40 is a bit too much. $29.99 would be the right price, maybe.

I hope that that's the same release for Australia. That would make me a very happy chappy.

I've been waiting for a Jak 4 for ages... This HD Collection is great considering I sold my PS2... But how about making a part 2 where you also include Jak X and The Lost Frontier... I want the whole collection if they are starting this...not just half of it...

Earlier than expected. Now, where's the Ratchet one?

i swear my entire ps2 library is being replaced by all these HD remakes, GoW, Metal Gear, Splinter Cell, PoP, DmC, Ico collection, Sly, and now Jak. Seriously all thats missing is just the Ratchet remakes and there goes all my ps2 games.

I'm torn between buying this, Asura's Wrath or The Darkness II. I don't know which one to purchase first

Awesome! Used to love the Jak & Daxter games :) Was surprised they stopped making them especially seeing as the Ratchet & Clank games have been successful on the next gen console

@Evenios I was also hoping for a Ratchet HD release some day, but I recently played the first and second Ratchet game on my old PS2 again and ... well ... let's just say the current-gen Ratchet games perfected the games and going back to the originals might be painful. As for Jak Trilogy HD ... AWESOME. Here's hoping we see a Jak 4 announcement at E3!! #naive
