Kessen Makes PS2 Launch

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Kessen will be released alongside the launch of the North American Sony PlayStation 2 on October 26. Kessen joins a large list of games from Electronic Arts currently on schedule to be released with the PlayStation 2. Other games from EA for the PS2 launch are SSX, Madden NFL 2001, Swing Away Golf, X-Squad, and Theme Park Rollercoaster.

Developed by Koei, Kessen is a strategy simulation game based on the samurai era of Japan. The game progresses in real time as you control a group of armed troops. At times during the game, there can be over 100 different characters onscreen at once.
