@mikeyMKII How is it a remake if it has stuff we've never seen in KH1? Ignorance is not cool man.
Kingdom Hearts 3D playable at Tokyo Game Show 2011
Other Square Enix highlights include Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Type-0, and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.
With this year's Tokyo Game Show launching this September, attendees can expect to hear announcements from heavy-hitters like Sony and Capcom about what they'll be showing off in the exhibition. Tetsuya Nomura from Square Enix recently said on Dengeki PlayStation that they'll be putting up recent playable builds of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Type-0, and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. This will be the first time players will get their hands on the 3DS iteration of a Kingdom Hearts title as well as the music rhythm Final Fantasy title.

With any luck, Kingdom Hearts fans will get to check out Sora and Riku's adventures early next year.
Nomura also stated in the article that he hopes to release Kingdom Hearts 3D at the start of 2012. For the series' 10th anniversary, he hopes to find a way to bring new players into the series while also hinting plans for a "high definition technical test" for the series. Whether this could mean an HD rerelease of the Kingdom Hearts series on a current-generation console remains to be seen.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance lets players switch between the roles of main characters Sora and Riku during the course of the game's narrative. Both of these characters will offer different play styles as well as branching paths with different scenarios and boss fights. Nomura said during the Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier event last January that the game's story will set the stage for the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3.
Stay tuned to GameSpot for more impressions and previews on the upcoming action role-playing game.
