Lego Rock Band setlist revealed
Family-friendly edition of rhythm franchise includes Queen, Incubus, Ray Parker Jr.; Xbox 360 and PS3 owners able to export all 45 tracks to other Rock Band games.
The Beatles: Rock Band was released to critical acclaim and massive sales expectations, but some rhythm rockers prefer a variety of bands in their games. For those people, MTV Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today revealed the full 45-song setlist of their upcoming collaboration, Lego Rock Band.
Billed as a more family-friendly take on the Rock Band formula, Lego Rock Band features a diverse array of acts, from classics like Queen, David Bowie, and Elton John to more modern fare like All American Rejects, Pink, and Rascal Flatts. And as with previous Rock Band games (except for The Beatles), PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players will be able to export the game's songs (for a nominal fee), saving them to the hard drive for use in other Rock Band titles. The console versions of Lego Rock Band will also support downloadable content from the Rock Band Music Store.
Lego Rock Band is set for release next month on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and DS and has been rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's latest Lego Rock Band coverage.
