This event pretty much covers the whole of London for about a week and a half. There are loads of events for both gamers and those in the industry. It's basically, E3, GDC, GC and Ubidays all in one event, except E3 is Video Games Live and London MCM Expo, Ubidays is EA's Be The One and the GDC is....well the GDC, just the London leg of it. :D

The organisers aren't confirming much else at the moment, although they promise to have "something for everyone, from casual gamers and parents seeking advice on safe gaming for their children, to hardcore fans wanting glimpses of the hottest titles in development or those hoping to make a career for themselves in the UK's games industry."
Last year's LGF saw over 100,000 gaming fans attend various events in the capital, including a Video Games Live musical performance, Electronic Arts taking over Trafalgar Square, and a talk by veteran gaming guru and creator of the Sims, Will Wright.
However, one event that definitely won't be part of this year's lineup is the BAFTA award ceremony for games. It was revealed in April that the gong-giving would be moved to March 2009.
