List of US Wii games revealed
Nintendo releases roster of games for upcoming console; 30 by year's end, 41 third-party by end of March 2007, more than a dozen confirmed for launch.
Much of the focus of Nintendo's press events today was on the Wii's launch date and price, but as the company's mantra states, it's all about the games. Nintendo says there will be 30 games available for the console in North America by the end of the calendar year, with approximately two-dozen games ready at launch.
Nintendo listed off its confirmed first-party titles but did not specify when most of the games would be in stores. Excite Truck, Wii Sports (included with the system), and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were confirmed for launch day during the press event in New York City, but some others, such as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, won't arrive until 2007.
Outside of the Mario house, the company says 41 third-party games from 14 different publishers will be available between launch and March 31, 2007. Ubisoft leads the pack with 10 games for the system through the end of March, including the recently revealed Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell Double Agent. Electronic Arts, Midway Games, and Activision all follow with five.
While the dozens of games bode well for future Wii owners, there were a few omissions that leave some question marks. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was nowhere to be seen, nor was Midway's Blitz: The League--further fueling the fire that the latter game has been canceled.
The rest of the launch lineup is expected to be whittled down in the coming months.

metroid 3 look pretty awesome i can't wait for it at all.. but hopefully the controls are similar to resident evil 4
I hope they release more online games cause seriously the only thing that xbox 360 is better than wii in is the xbox live alot of cool and nice online games . i want a game like counter strike for wii for example soon it will release on wii ghost squad i think its like ghost recon for xbox 360
Elebits was not a launch title but whatever. Warioware is really fun. Of course they weren't going to make Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros, and Metroid Prime launch titles, that wouldn't really make sense. I am very satisfied with my Wii60!
Man when Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Metroid Prime 3 come out, the Wii will be unstoppable. I am already loving Sonic and WarioWare and will probably love SSX Blur!

fartys: As 4 of those games already has got 8+ i think maybe a little more than that will make it. I think some of them might be: Mario Strikers Charged Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Super Mario Galaxy WarioWare: Smooth Moves Battalion Wars II Big Brain Academy Metal Slug Anthology Elebits also i think Wii: Play is a candidate, but i don't know why it's not on the list. Well, just get back to your 360 or PS3, next time try being serious :) Very good list indeed
I pre-ordered Legend of Zelda, Red Steel, Metal Slug, Call of Duty 3, an extra Wiimote and a Nunchuck.
Ya gotta take the good with the bad. Battalion wars 2, zelda, metroid, truma center, possibly red steel, smash bros, but yeah alot of games-made-from-movies on this list. lets hope Nintendo gets this out of their system soon and try to make some good games that make use of the new controller.
most of this line up is tripe, there are only about 4 games on that list that gamespot will give over 8 on there review which means only 4 of them are really worth playing!
Red Steel Zelda Trauma Center and possibly Ultimate Alliance That's a hell of a lineup, and better than PS3's Only 22 more days till PSWii!!!
mostly alot of very forgettable liscensed crap on that list, I don't expect a Wii worth having until Mario Galaxy.
Looks like a pretty good lineup for the first few months after launch. Can't wait to get my hands on some of those games!

Alphabat: No confirmed launch date for Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors. Definitely gotta have Twilight Princess then of course Red Steel I think I will be happy for a while with those two titles
