New Freedom Force downloads available
EA Games has released a new editor tool and a new character mesh.
EA Games has announced the release of two new extras for its tactical superhero game, Freedom Force. The first is a new 3D character mesh of a rifle-toting soldier, which can be used to create a custom hero, and can also be used by 3D artists to create new texture "skins." EA has also released a new plug-in for Freedom Force that will let 3D modelers export their custom 3D graphics and characters from the modeling program 3DStudio Max directly into Freedom Force.
This download isn't actually the mission editor, which will eventually let players modify scenarios, campaigns, sounds, and objects within the game. The editor should be made available at a later date.
Freedom Force is a colorful role-playing game that lets you play as a group of superheroes based on classic American "Silver Age" comic characters from the 1960's. The game won read our full review, and download the new mesh and plug-in from the links below.
