Santa Clara, Calif., (January 22, 2008) – Leading video games publisher and developer, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., announced today that One Piece: Unlimited Adventure has shipped to retail stores nationwide for the Wii. Based on the hit animated TV series, One Piece, players take control of their favorite Straw Hat Pirate in a brand new adventure filled with mystery, excitement and treasure. One Piece: Unlimited Adventure is rated "T" for teen by the ESRB and carries an MSRP of $39.99.

While sailing the open sea, an island mysteriously rises from deep beneath the ocean waves, leaving the swarthy Straw Hat Pirates stranded on a strange land. As players take control of their favorite One Piece characters they will uncover hidden secrets, lost treasure and exciting battles.
Using the innovative Wii Remote and Nunchuck controller, players will twist, turn and swing to vanquish the nefarious enemies infesting the mysterious island the Straw Hat Pirates have found themselves stranded on. Up to eight different Straw Hat Pirates are available to control in Adventure Mode, each with their own unique special moves such as Luffy's "Gum Gum Storm," and Nami the Navigator's "Cyclone Tempo." Swashbucklers eager for more can unlock over 40 playable characters to test their might in Survival Mode and go toe-to-toe against all comers in Vs. Mode. With a brand new story, additional playable characters, new outfits, items, and attacks to unlock, One Piece: Unlimited Adventure marks the spot for true adventure on and off the high seas.
