PC Fable III due May 17

Yep....no difference....no enhanced anything....hmmmm well....TPB here i come....

So PC owners get... A game that does not exploit the PC's power over the xbox. A game with nothing new from the console release. AND an 8 month old game released as new for $50. I might be willing to pay the $7 they want to charge for the xbox xpansion for the WHOLE game. I am tired of the assumption all games should be released as "new", when they are not new nor worth $50. MAYBE I will pick it out of the bargain bin in a year.

so what's the difference from xbox version? nothing? then... forget it...

This is a Day One purchase game. This game will be sold out everywhere! Get it soooooon.

This might be kind of fun but if I decide to play Fable III again I'll wait for the PC version as I have now sold my Xbox 360 version of the game.

Ohwow, I guess they were just counting money from console sales all this time. Now they've done, or they are bored, so they decide it is time to launch crappy port for PC, so they can start again. Microsoft won't see my money though. I think they got enough already.

Not bad PC...nice, just 8 months shy of the Console launch. What's the point of a "superior" gaming platform if there aren't any games to play on it? It's like having a Ferrari with no wheels. (That's why I stopped building rigs.) PC gaming isn't dead, but it certaintly isn't where it was 10 years ago. :/

Don't buy this game, it's awful.

I liked this game a lot all the way up until I became the king, then the game just died after that. It was kinda like how Hancock made me feel after you found out about the girl.

Well it's MS, so they got money to burn. They might even add part two as a comic video in the goodies selection. Yet it won't be for free, and for 1500 ms points the comic could be yours haha. GG MS.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to release this without ever releasing 2 on PC.

too late Microsoft. most of the people already played and forgot Fable 3. if you're going to release Fable II and Fable III at same time with exclusive chapters, maybe you can please PC gamers..

@pelvist I just think that for people who can't just go out and buy a Xbox 360 out of the blue like me we should at least be thankful that the game is actually coming for the pc, I wish i could just go to the store and buy a 360 so I could play some of the great exclusives it has, but I just don't have that kind of money. for one I'm thankful the game is still coming to the pc, but I do agree that PC players get put aside too much in situations like these

i've been wikiing bad for the lore of fable 3 ever since i've finished fable tlc. i've been wikiing for about 2 months and have been constantly searching for updates in regards to the release of fable 3 in the pc. now that i've got the news wrapped up, my juice for playing this game has already vanished. not interested anymore. took too much time. microsft is just concerned about their xbox 360 customers and forgot about the very people who made their company an electronic superpower. yeah thats right! im talking about the PC enthusiasts. forget about this game and save your money for crysis 2, DA 2, Skyrim, ME 3. afterall, fable 3 doesnt have a good rating and fable 2 aint getting a port as well. seriously, microsoft you arent worthy of our time and money.

@DrAmazinDood No, you didnt get it straight at all, the game wasnt delayed for optimisation, we have heared that excuse hundreds of times and yet it only ever seems to be the case with 360/PC multiplats that are big names on 360. If you really believe that the game was delayed for optimisation then your just as stupid as Microsoft believe you to be. These delays are imposed to give the 360 timed exclusives, a reason to buy one over a PS3 and a reason to buy the royaltee fee 360 version over the cheaper and superior PC version, its as simple as that. Gears of War was released late on PC too, but it was a much more popular game and was still popular at the time that it was released on PC. People werent all over it either, according to EPIC the game didnt sell well. ( ...probably for the same reasons in some small part ) PC gamers arent playing "hard to get" at all, they are unhappy with the way Microsoft treat the PC as a second hand market only suitable for hand-me-downs on the big names in order to stay ahead of Sony in the console market. People are fed up of sloppy seconds, and when it comes to games that arent even that good and have been forgotten about already, then why should they buy them?

What are Fable's 3, me not know!

let me get this straight, so people are thinking about turning down this game because it got delayed for the pc so it could be optimized, I wonder, if the pc version is considered a superior version, will people still be this hard headed? games like Gears of War was released for pc 1 year after the Xbox version and was considered superior and even though it got delayed people were all over it. Most people here are just playing hard to get but I bet that if the pc version gets superior praise all the people saying "I don't care about this anymore" will be over it faster than an ant on sugar

This was a first day must buy for me initially, but thank the maker they delayed it in PC...... now i know better. There might still have been a little chance for me to buy this game, however, witcher 2 is being released on the same day. Besides, with the kind of importance the witcher 2 producers are showing to the PC gamer, i would buy it if only it was out of GOODWILL!!!!

Just because this is a good year for games, doesn't suddenly make Fable 3 unworthy of your time. Personally i think i'll pick this up day 1 if i can :)

I might get it around August/September when Financial Aid comes in. The price will probably have gone down by then too. I really wanted to get it with my post-holiday money, but it just didn't come out, and I can only afford to buy one more game new until then which will be Dragon Age II. You missed out MS/Lionhead, you really did.

Not interested, If it was realeased for PC at the same time as it was for 360 I would probably have baught it for PC for the same reason XBOX gamers baught the XBOX version. Since it was released on 360 and I have had the time to see peoples opinions of the game and how its allmost forgotten about already, I dont think ill buy it at all now. M$ missed out on game sales on the PC platform by making it a timed exclusive on 360. All that did was help a lot of possible customers on the PC decide not to buy. After we got to see how the game really is when there wasnt any pre-release hype and instead the only hype left (if you can call it that) was/is actual opinions from people who had baught, played and already forgotten about the game. Now that we know the games is not that great, and weve been forced to miss out on Fable 2, what reason is there to buy it?

why does fable pc get an exclusive hardcore mode fable 3 was pips on my xbox i want hardcore mode for xbox

I'm actually still looking forward to it. It's not my most-anticipated game this year, but I remember how much I liked Fable 1.

I may get around to playing this at some point, if the price is right, but I kind of lost interest about a month ago.

I'll gladly play the hell out of this. Thanks.

There are so many good games like deus ex HR,Witcher 2,Skyrim and DA 2..I don't care about fable series for PC anymore

I wished I like Fable II more, I just didn't.

@boxofwit To be fair, there's enough difference between ALL the RPGs coming out this year to make them all worthy of mention. But I must say, in terms of environment, Skyrim will probably dominate. Shivering Isles was superb in that respect, though had a bit of an underwhelming conclusion.

To all those comparing this to Dragon Age, The Witcher, Skyrim etc, it's a completely different game. Fable is about humour and environments. What it lacks technically it makes up for in charm. However, I do think that PC market for Fable is minimal. I also have to say that I thought Fable 2 was a better game than its successor.

What about Fable 2? Halo 3? Halo Reach? Gears 2? Alan Wake? We don't care about Fable 3 anymore! Because A) Fable 3 sucked when it came out! B) After 6 months, nobody gives a damn anymore! C) Hey M$! Have fun competing with the other PC RPG's out there, Witcher 2, Skyrim, Star Wars: The Old Republic, LOTRO, Guild Wars 2, WoW, Diablo III, Fallout: New Vegas, and Mass Effect 3 (Fun fact: It's on PS3 now)!

It makes me remember about Gears Of War Original releases!! :roll: which is 1 year after the 360 version, and in the end, Epic disappointed with sales number, and stated if they pull out from PC Market!! you want your games selling like cake, but you give us the port after waiting for 1 years :? hey It's already stale!! even cake will stale after 3 days!! You want it boom, boom, just in your dream!! :/

I wonder if they spent the last six months polishing it up and working out the rest of the bugs. It'd be nice if multiplayer actually worked this time around. I don't know what they were thinking by not having this out six months ago. Personally, I'd have lost interest by now with all the other amazing games coming out this year.

I was lucky enough to play Fable II at my friends house. Lucky me.

But no Fable 2? Weird. But @Richardthe3rd, completely agree. Fable has really fallen in terms of quality since the first one. With excellent games like the Witcher 2 and Skyrim coming out, there's no reason to play this.

I wonder who was that smart in Microsoft to release their game in such rpg-heavy year (DA2,Witcher 2,Skyrim) original fable was entertaining and so bright kind-hearted game that I enjoyed it so much..but then..I don't think this game will keep up with the original and in rpg year it'd look too bland
