Phenomic conjuring SpellForce 2 expansion

Dragon Storm set to be released later this year; North American publisher for the game as yet unconfirmed.

When Phenomic's SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars came out earlier this year, it won accolades for its mix of real-time strategy and action role-playing, as well as a huge single-player campaign. Gamers who made it all the way through that campaign and wanted more are about to get it, as Austrian publisher JoWood Productions today announced that it will release an expansion pack to the game, Dragon Storm, "in winter 2006."

While JoWood didn't give many details about Dragon Storm, it did set up part of the story. Players will fight for control of a series of magic portals between "the shattered islands of Eo." Along the way, they will discover relics of powerful dragons of the past. Dragons presumably wind up in the game's present as well, as JoWood promised to let players experience a war waged by dragons.

A representative for Aspyr, the North American publisher of SpellForce 2, declined to comment when asked if it would be bringing Dragon Storm to domestic gamers.

I love collect of all types SpellForce 1, 2 so far! I can't wait to get more games for PC. I hope North American get this game. I need to buy this game soon. I think about last game is SpellForce 3 maybe release in 2010 to 2012. Display on game box maybe said Adult Only. I guess it. SpellForce 1 - Teen, SpellfForce 2 - Mature, and SpellForce 3 - Adult Only, start price at $50 or $60. I not sure which one is right. I hope for them coming to US! I love to collection all of my world's best gaming!

I actually picked up this game recently and I can say yay for an expainsion!

I gotta say I liked SF1 more than SF2. The whole WC3 wannabe look+feel was a bit offputting, and the straitjacket skill tree pretty much kills the replay value of the game. Would it be too much to hope for for the developers to fix some of the more glaring SF2 flaws in the expansion?

The game was great, just like others have stated the stupid starforce protection is horrible. :(

Ah, SpellForce 2, another game that didn't get half the sales it should have because of the garbage copy protection known as Starforce.

SpellForce 2 was fun, but that starforce spyware messes my system up real bad. It's a lot of work and no fun at all formatting and reinstalling my hole system.

Well SpellForce 2 was good of what I have seen of it.I can't wait to see what they can add to the game.I hope it comes to the US it would be to bad if not but if not its not like I will die so if not life will go on.This game reminds me of Guild wars game play wise even though both are two different games.I wonder how they are going to add the part about "Players will fight for control of a series of magic portals between the shattered islands of Eo".So will this be like a mage kind of portals or a whole different way.But non the less hope the game will be fun.
