Plus-44 Track to Debut in Tony Hawks Project 8 Video Game

Santa Monica, CA — October 17, 2006 — Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) is rocking gamers with an all-star musical line-up for the upcoming Tony Hawk's Project 8 video game, including the debut of a track from the highly anticipated Plus-44 album, "When Your Heart Stops Beating." The track "Lycanthrope," is among 56 heart-pounding songs that will be featured in-game from such artists as Wolfmother, Gnarls Barkley and Kasabian.
"The Tony Hawk's Project 8 soundtrack features an eclectic collection of original and licensed music from punk rock and hip hop to metal," said Tim Riley, worldwide executive of music at Activision. "The music captures the rebellious, off-beat, high energy vibe exemplified in skate culture and in the video game."

Tony Hawk's Project 8 is scheduled for release in November for the Xbox 360 and Xbox video game and entertainment systems from Microsoft, as well as the PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system, the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and the PSP (PlayStationPortable) system. The game is rated "T" by the ESRB.
