MX vs. ATV Alive hits in spring; Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine due in summer; Saints Row 3 and next WWE coming in fall; and next UFC coming in early 2012.
Last month, THQ reported quarterly losses of $30.1 million, thanks to lower-than-expected sales of UFC Undisputed. In an analyst conference call following the report, the company said it was considering expanding the release window between UFC games to more than a year.
Today, THQ revealed its release schedule of "core games" for its 2012 fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2012. Sure enough, the slate reveals that the next UFC game won't arrive until Q1 2012, nearly two years after May's UFC Undisputed 2010. While still a best-seller with nearly 3 million units shipped, the game did not perform as well as expected.
THQ's schedule also narrowed the launch window for the next installment in the Red Faction series, Armageddon. Once due in March 2011, The Volition-developed, open-world game will arrive in May, followed by the summer release of the Relic-developed Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.
Fall 2011 will see the long-awaited debut of Saints Row 3, the capper in the Grand Theft Auto-like sandbox crime series. That same time frame will also see the next WWE wrestling game, although what exactly the title will be was unclear.

saints row was a good game to play. I am hoping saints row 3 will be just as good as the others. I would like a-bit more mature storyline though. Not sure what everyone else thinks as i know some people like that in-mature setting of the game.
putting all of their eggs in stupid UFC's basket was stupid. it's a stupid fad sport and it's already fading. it peaked about a year and a half ago. no way left to go but down after a peak. anyway. I don't care about any of these games. except red faction. i'm really upset it's delayed due to poor ufc sales. wow. fuel to the fire of my hatred for ufc. i am a big boxing fan. ufc is..... g@y Porn. anyway. can't wait to own on rfa's multiplayer. i'm a school teacher, so may is perfect. all of june and july to play it. but still, so far away....
SR3 I can't wait to get my hands on that gem. All their other games well I could care less for...
if I was THQ I wouldn't won't to put up red faction against Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2, it would sink like the ill fated Bismarck
The game was turning into shovelware anyway, just tiny small improvements and expecting massive sales, kinda like Fifa games.
Saints Row 3 will really need to work hard, but THQ and Volition evidently have their game on.

I still like the first red faction most of all, really had a dark grim feel to it and the geomod at the time was amazing yet not over the top... hope armageddon brings that claustrophobic dark gritty gameplay back into the series!
Red Faction and Warhammer lets kill some stuff. I hope Red Faction is a little better and not so repetitive. Warhammer I have I hopes for, so please do not suck.
If Armageddon incorporates more of Guerrilla's sandbox gameplay, I might pass. I got bored of Guerrilla way too quickly... and it's a shame. Technically, the game was excellently designed.
Red Faction: Armageddon and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine are the two that I'm most interested in. Red Faction is in a really good position right now and It's good to see Armageddon coming, it's coming at the right time for my tastes and Warhammer sounds like it could be fun. I remember Fire Warrior on PS2, it was good but could have been better but overall I liked it, it will be interesting to see what becomes of Space Marine. UFC Undisputed 2010 looked great, if the demo was true to what the full game was it should have been a contender and not just a lightwheight.
RF: Armageddon will be fun simply because of its destyruction... just like RFG was. However it will be a short lived fun if Volition didn't fix all the small, but very annoying bugs RFG had, especially in MP. I've never seen such a fun, but annoyingly bugged game before and I hope thats not the case with RFA.
Saints Row 3 FTW! Now that I know around about when it's being released, I can say at this point SR3 is my most anticipated game of 2011. Very few franchises can get me that excited without even knowing anything about the game. GTA is the only other one that comes to mind.....go figure!
Get ready for that sinking bottom line THQ; that's easily one of the poorest release schedules I've seen from a company for 2011 so far.
