Thats really cool and a great way to help. If only other games companies did something like this too.
Runes of Magic players prepare to raise money for flood victims
MMO game's Aussie publisher--N3V Games--announces that 50 percent of all sales on select items will be donated to the Queensland premier's relief appeal.
With donations coming in from around Australia to help victims of the Queensland floods, Aussie games company N3V Games has announced that it will be hosting a special Runes of Magic charity event this weekend to help raise money for the Queensland government's assistance fund.
Starting at 12 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, the fundraiser will last for just over a week, finishing on January 23 at midnight. Fifty percent of all the revenue raised from sales of the Star Mount and Flame Mount in-game items over that period will be donated to the Queensland premier's flood relief appeal.
"As a Queensland company we have many guys living in Brisbane who have been affected by the floods. This charity event is our way of showing our support for all of those affected by these unfortunate events," N3V Games' CEO Graham Edelsten said.
