Sega crowns Dreamcast Championships winner
Lindsay Gall takes home the grand prize of $15,000 and a trip to Jamaica by winning a Crazy Taxi competition.
Lindsay Gall of St. Anne, Ill., walked away with the $15,000 first prize and a trip to Jamaica in the latest Dreamcast Championships staged by Sega of America. Ten finalists, who competed in various events nationwide as part of Sega's Mobile Assault Tour, competed in games of Crazy Taxi for a chance to win $5,000, $10,000, or the $15,000 grand prize. Michael Pirring of San Francisco and Roger Mogle, also of St. Anne, took the second and third prizes, respectively.
Last year's Dreamcast Championships was held in Las Vegas, and players competed in games of Sonic Adventure.
