Latest installment in long-running 3-on-3 fighting series set to come out swinging on Xbox.
King of Fighters NeoWave was originally planned for a November 2005 release on the Xbox, but the holiday season came and went without so much as a single Orochi under the tree for KOF fans. The game is still on the way, however; SNK Playmore today announced that the Xbox Live-enabled brawler should hit stores in March. A port of the first King of Fighters game to be built off Sammy's Atomiswave arcade hardware instead of the original SNK NeoGeo system, NeoWave features 43 characters in the series' trademark 3-on-3 fighting format and adds a number of gameplay tweaks to the mix, including the health-for-power trade-off "Heat Mode."
